my prom dress is finally made!!!! :D

I finally finished the prom dress that i wrote about soo long ago!!! And i also entered it into Joann's Own Your Look 2011 prom dress contest :D check it out!!! xD

Witch's Brew

Heyy (:
So, today I spent alll day making special cookies that will make you short and fat!


The Recipe....

Mix together:

3/4 Cup Chicken Poison
3/4 Cup Grease
2 Cups Un-Colored Happy Crack
4 Flamingo Eggs
1 Teaspoon Dried Blood

Then Add:

5 Cups Flour
1 Teaspoon Mummy's Guts
1 Teaspoon Shinny Crystals

Refrigerate for 1 hour, then roll out and cut into desired shapes (Cauldrons work best ;) and then bake for 6-8 Minutes @ 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

But the cookies are really good, and they do work! (;

So, today I was really hungry, and I was craving cookies. Sadly, there were none in the house when I was craving them... but since I was hungry and didn't have anything else to do, I decided to make some cookies!!! (:
So, I decided to use a new recipe that i got from my treat-a-month calender and make Sweetwiches ;)
These cookies are very easy to make, and really yummy as well (;

Mix:
1 box Cake mix,
1/2 C. Shortening,
1 egg
Form into 1" thick balls and press lightly on to baking sheet, then bake for 10-12 min. at 350 degrees. Cool. Spread frosting on flat side of cookie, then place other cookie on top. enjoy! (:

Sadly, we didn't have any powdered suger so I couldn't make frosting, I don't like frosting made from actual sugar, and my dad wouldn't go and get some from the store, so we only had the individual cookies. They were still good, though. (:

Patterns (:

So, today I was pretty bored, and when I'm really bored and have nothing to do and my room is a mess, I usually start cleaning. Today was no different :) I started with my desk, randomly picking a pile and sorting through it. Coincidentally, I happened to pick the pile of random patterns that I had tossed on my desk while trying to find something else. For awhile now, I had been thinking that I should make a book of all my patterns so that I would be able to find them when I needed them, instead of having to search through all of my many drawers and books trying to find the one that I wanted. So, today I started...
I gathered all of my patterns for bags, scarves, bracelets, and countless other things and started organizing them.
I ended up with a pretty big book, and I found quite a few patterns I had fogotten I had. I made a cover for it on the computer, and then I put it all together (:

So, that is my amazing book of patterns (:

It mostly only has knitting, crochetting and friendship bracelet patterns, as my sewing patterns wouldn't fit in there ;) Soo... ya!

So, I had this shirt that's really cute, but it had long sleeves...

and I don't like long sleeve shirts :P So, I took the scissors... and it became this:

Inside Out :)

So, yesterday i found this kool random craft project i had done awhile a go.... 
So, i have this green skirt with lots of flower-ish designs on it... 

So, i like it, but it's not one of my favorite skirts ever. So last Halloween when my best friend and I were making our costumes, I needed a skirt that i could cover in duck tape (it's a long story ;P). So, I thought at first that I would use this skirt and just turn it inside-out, then cut off the skirt and cover the lining. However, when i turned it inside out, I really liked the way the lining looked when over the skirt...

Ok, so these aren't the greatest pictures, but it looks really cute ;) So, instead of cutting it up and covering it w/ duck tape, i instead turned it inside out and wore it that way XD

I used a different skirt for my costume ;) So, that is my amazing inside-out skirt!

Nail Polish - Who knew?!?! ;D

So, today i was home alone, and i was sitting in my room, bored. I was randomly playing with my pencil, and i was thinking about how boring it looked... and then i saw the nail polish that was still on my desk from when i had painted my nails earlier... and i got an idea XD
So, my mom says that nail polish is just paint... so i used it as paint and made my pencil prettyful!!!! haha XD

I couldn't get very good pictures, but it looks really awesome now XD soo... ya!!! nail polish is an amazing paint!! but i wouldn't advise u 2 use it as paint that often as itz expensive for just normal paint n then itz all gone :P

so, the other day i was at a loss for what to wear. i wanted to wear something yellow, because i felt like wearing something yellow, but i only have on yellow shirt and i didn't really like it...
                                     

I didn't like the collar thing, and they sewed it wrong so the edges didn't lay flat. So, i decided to fix that...

and i cut it off! :D

So, here is what it looked like afterwards...

As you can see, it's not that much different. itz like a sweater now... i just wear a tank top underneath it, which i had 2 do b4 as well because it's kind of thin... so ya! thats all really (:

Polka Dots! ♥ (o:

So, last night i was hungry, and i was craving cake. Sadly, we did not have any cake or even any other desert for me to eat, so i decided to rectify that... and so i made a cake! XD

The cake itself was really easy to make, as i cheated and used cake mix XD, but i did make the frosting ;)

i don't remember the exact recipe for the frosting, and i don't feel like getting up and getting it, so I'll write what i think it was, and you can just experiment XP

1 8 oz. package of cream cheese,

1 tsp vanilla,

1/4 cup of butter, softened

4 cups of powdered sugar.

mix together the cream cheese, vanilla and butter untill they're creamy, and then add the sugar gradually until it becomes frosting! then you can add food coloring if you want. i used green and blue ;)

so, i took the frosting and frosted the cake green, using lots of frosting because i like it XD i then took the blue frosting and tried to do polka dots, because i thought it would be kool. At first i tried to do it with a spoon, but i failed miserably, and so i gave up and asked my mom for help. she told me how to use the baking tips or whatever they are, and so i had my daddy get them down for me and used them to make what were supposed to be polka dots, but looked more like giant chocolate chips to me XP However, it still looked kool, and it tastes amazing, so itz all good ;D

right, so that's pretty much it! ;)

Itz A Monday! O.o

so, today is Monday, like in case you didn't actually know that ;P, and i just happened to be in a sewing mood... O.o
That doesn't happen very often, so when it does happen i always rush to take advantage of it. Therefore, today when i was dressed and deciding what i wanted to do today, i decided that today was the perfect day to tackle all of the random projects that i had been thinking of doing the last week, but had never actually gotten around to doing...
So, i got out all of my materials and ideas and everything else required for crafting days, and got to work.
First, i decided to make myself a new swimming suit top.
 i don't like wearing one peice suits, as they are uncomfortable to me, and i don't like bikinis and besides they're not modest, so i always wear tankinis. however, i won't wear them if they don't cover my stomach, as it's akward. so, as my swimming suit from last year was too short, i needed a new top, and not finding one at target, i decided to make myself one from my old one peice swimming suits. so, i cut off the bottom of the swimming suit, cut off the straps to my old bras,  put them into the swimming suit, sewed it all together, and made myself an amazing 'new' swimming suit top XD

This is my second try, which actually worked. my first try was not so succseful, but it still works... just not for me :P

As you can see, it doesn't look that bad, but the ruffle on the bottom looks rather weird with the skirt i have, so i'll use the first one and try and find a different bottom for this one ;D

My Second project was to make a new bag that i can use to carry my books for school. As i only have two binders, a notebook, my water bottle, and then some other small books, it doesn't need to be that big, but it can't be too small either.

This is the finished product. I took two squares of denim material and sewed the edges together. i then took a strip of vinyl material and pinned it to the edges of the bag. i put it all the way to the bottom of the bag, but you could make just put it at the top. then i sewed it to the bag, cut a square of vinyl for a pocket, sewed that on, and Viola! itz done :)

I also took a t-shirt that was too big for me, and sewed up the sides so that it now fits me. i don't have any pictures of it tho, sorry :P

Well, that pretty much concludes my crafting for today, so...

Welcome to my Craft Blog!! :D
so, this blog will show you all of the random crafts that i do, and might or might not show you how to do them yourself, it depends on how complicated it is and whether or not i feel like describing it lol XP
right! so, i suppose you should know a bit about me...
if you haven't read the about me section in my profile, you will not know that i'm pretty much just a very Random girl who loves Ninjas, Nail Polish, Smileys :), and hanging out with her friends and talking :D. if you have read the about me section in my profile, good for you! reading this last paragraph was totally pointless for you. sorry about that... XP
I love to write, read, and do crafts. I can and will knit, crochet, sew, bake, scrapbook, make cards, draw (but not all that well XP), paint random pictures with tempra XD, make paper airplanes and other random objects, and my personal favorite, write random blogs about the totally random and weird things that i do, and also the thoughts that i think ♥ ;D
Right, i think that's enough about me and this blog, i will now head off and do some random crafts!
